SLES, or known as AES, is a kind of anionic surfactant. Diffluent in water and soluble in ethylalcohol, it owns the features of having good abilities of decontamination, madefaction, foaming,and emulsification and having good biodegradability.

Usage:

In cosmetic industry, it is used for preparing lavation cosmetic, including the high-end liquidsoap, shampoo, compound soap, bath foam and cleanser.In the detergent industry, it is used for preparing liquid detergent and mixed washing powder(soap), owning the function of foaming, decontamination, and solubilizing. It is always be used for non-phosphorus-,low -phosphorous-, heavy-dirty-, and degreasing detergent.

It also has other industrial application, such as being used as lubricant, levelling agent,cleaning agent, foaming agent, static electricity remover and degreasing agent in textile industry,printing and dyeing, and leather industry.
